Tier 2: Baby Jays

2. KJ Adams

KJ was his usual efficient self, going 5-for-7 from the floor. He finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block and four turnovers. He was sloppy with some passes and missed a crucial one-and-one from the line but played his usual energetic self on defense and gave maximum effort.

3. Kevin McCullar

Kevin was sloppy with the ball and turned it over way too much. He was inefficient from the field, going 5-for-10. Kev battled, though, and hit some clutch shots to keep KU in the game down the stretch. He finished with 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal and five turnovers.

4. Nicolas Timberlake

Nicolas brought some energy when he checked into the game. He was called for a foul on a fast break where he really tied the ball up and would not let go until he ripped the ball away. I liked the toughness and energy of the play. He finished a couple of shots at the rim and was efficient from the field at 2-for-3, although he did miss his only open 3-point attempt. Timberlake finished with five points and one turnover.

5. Parker Braun

Parker came in with Hunter in foul trouble and played nine solid minutes, including hitting a three from the top of the key as time ran out on the shot clock. Parker finished with three points, three rebounds, one steal and one block.
