On Wednesday, the Kansas Jayhawks revealed the look of their 2024-25 uniforms featuring a style that will feel nostalgic for many fans.

KU basketball unveiled on their various social media platforms that the popular “circus font” has been brought back to their uniforms for this upcoming season – and potentially for seasons to come.

For many years, the circus font uniforms have been a popular style of uniforms among Jayhawk fans. The style was worn by KU greats such as Kirk Hinrich, Nick Collison, Drew Gooden, Paul Pierce, Raef LaFrentz, and others when KU was outfitted by Nike.

This year’s uniforms offer a refreshed take on the classics while paying a special homage to KU’s first head coach and the inventor of the game of basketball James Naismith.

The plaid pattern that can be seen toward the bottom of the shorts in blue reflect the plaid suits and wardrobe often worn by Naismith during his time at KU.

The stylish new jerseys and matching shorts are available online now and at select Rally House locations.
