There weren't many positive things to take away from Kansas basketball's 79-50 loss to Texas Tech tonight. The Jayhawks were outplayed in every aspect of the game, shooting 17-of-52 (32.7%) from the field while losing the rebounding battle by 16. It was tied for the worst conference loss since Bill Self took the job in 2003.

Kansas didn't lead the entire game and trailed by nine or more points the entire second half. Frustration had clearly built up for Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self, who was thrown out at the 5:49 mark after a foul was called on Hunter Dickinson. The Red Raider fans waved him goodbye as he walked to the tunnel following his ejection.

Even though it was a blowout, Kansas missed its leader because TTU ended the game on a 20-7 run. It wasn't the worst refereeing performance fans have seen in the Big 12 by any means, but Self was clearly upset about the entire night. The Jayhawk faithful will see him back on the sideline this Saturday when the Jayhawks travel to Norman, Oklahoma.
