6. Texas Tech Red Raiders (14-2, 3-0 Big 12)

90-73 win vs. Oklahoma State
60-59 win vs. Kansas State

A double-digit road win against Texas in the conference opener showed the Red Raiders have some serious grit in them. They also surmounted a 12-point deficit to avoid a home loss to Kansas State. Although they aren't the most talented team, the brand of TTU basketball is back under Grant McCasland.
