The Kansas Jayhawks have been in close contact with several players in the transfer portal, but one of their top targets is off the board. Colby Rogers committed to Memphis, and he had been near the top of KU's transfer list for a while.

Bill Self and Co. are still looking to add one or two more players in the portal, preferably a wing or a guard who can score at will. The coaching staff has been tasked with finding a replacement for the leading scorer in the Big 12 and potentially another starting wing.

If the Jayhawks are going to improve upon this past campaign's disappointing finish, superstar center Hunter Dickinson must be surrounded by shooters, defenders, and players who can take on some of the scoring duties. There are several transfers on this list that fit that bill perfectly.

Rogers is no longer an option, but these five players could still become Jayhawks in the near future.
