G Javon Small - Oklahoma State

2023-24 Statistics: 31 G, 15.1 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 4.1 APG, 1.0 SPG, 44.1% FG, 2.0 3PM, 37.4% 3PT

Small was one of the most recent transfer portal entries that Kansas contacted. The former Oklahoma State guard was terrific after two years at East Carolina and saw his outside shooting percentages skyrocket. Small is a combo guard who finishes strong at the rim and creates open shots for his teammates.

Even though he played on a mediocre team, Small continued to produce solid numbers during conference play. He proved himself in arguably the best college basketball conference in the nation and is familiar with the Big 12. Small might not be the No. 1 priority in the portal for Coach Self, but he would immediately contend for a starting spot if he did join the Jayhawks.
