Bill Self and the Kansas basketball program have wasted no time revamping the roster after a disappointing finish to the 2023-24 season. They added three big-time transfer portal players, the most recent being former Wisconsin Badger AJ Storr, in addition to landing a top-five high school recruiting class.
While the Jayhawks would likely go into next season as one of the top teams in the preseason, the roster is not completely set. Freshman wing Johnny Furphy entered the NBA Draft and is expected to keep his name in the draft pool, and other current players could go portaling in the next few weeks.
It has become evident that Coach Self wants to add at least one more transfer to the squad, and that number could rise depending on how many players depart from the program. One or even multiple of these five portal options would be excellent additions to KU's team.
