Option 1: Dajuan Harris, Zeke Mayo, AJ Storr, KJ Adams, Hunter Dickinson

In September, Coach Self hopped on the Field of 68 podcast with Jeff Goodman and Robbie Hummel. During the episode, he discussed what a potential Jayhawk starting five might look like. According to Self, it 'would be hard' to keep Dajuan Harris, Hunter Dickinson, and Zeke Mayo out of the lineup. He also mentioned KJ [Adams] or AJ [Storr], but it's difficult to tell what he said with his thick accent.

Since nobody truly knows what Self was trying to convey, option one includes both of those players. It would make sense, as Adams started all but two games at KU a year ago when he was tending to a personal matter. Storr also started every game at Wisconsin and led the team in points per game.

Adams is familiar with Kansas' system and has clearly earned Coach Self's trust. This lineup would give the Jayhawks dual ball-handlers and two serious scoring threats to pair with Dickinson.
