2023-24 Statistics: 21 G, 17.1 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 3.0 APG, 0.9 SPG, 40.1% FG, 2.2 3PM, 38.7% 3PT

Ivy-Curry entered the portal as a graduate transfer once the season ended. He committed to Virginia Tech and was expected to compete for a spot in the Hokies starting lineup. However, he changed his mind this week and announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal once again.

Since re-opening his recruitment, Kansas has been one of the top schools to pursue him. He posted prolific scoring numbers in his senior year at UTSA and can score at all three levels. Ivy-Curry served as the sixth man for the Roadrunners, so he has past experience with contributing off the bench.

Realistically, targeting a player of Ivy-Curry’s caliber would yield better results for the coaching staff. Recruiting big names from bigger schools will be difficult due to all of the talent on the current roster. This could be a sneaky, under-the-radar get for Kansas to fill out the roster.
