Johnny Furphy

Furphy is contemplating entering the NBA Draft or staying at school for one more year. Both are compelling options, one more than the other. Making the pros is every player's dream, and Furphy would undoubtedly hear his name called on draft day if he took the step to the NBA.

The Australian wing struggled toward the end of the season and showed how raw his game can be at times. He might benefit from staying at KU and developing for another year. However, the NBA typically drafts off future potential, and he could continue to mold into a better player at the next level. Not to mention, this is an extremely weak draft class.

Nothing is a done deal, but he just hired an NCAA-certified agent so he could hear feedback from pro scouts. If there are any players that Kansas fans should not expect back next year, Furphy would probably be on the top of that list.
