As of Apr. 12, the Kansas basketball team has yet to suffer the loss of a player. In fact, the Jayhawks are the only team in the Big 12 with no outgoing transfers yet. Even potential NBA Draft entries have yet to declare for the draft or announce they would not return to KU.

Unfortunately, that is not going to be sustainable. The transfer portal is inevitable in the modern era of college basketball, and the Jayhawks can only stay safe from it for so long. Head coach Bill Self is likely gearing up for at least a few losses this offseason.

Kansas currently has all 13 scholarships filled, so the coaching staff cannot make any transfer portal or recruiting additions to next year's team unless someone departs from the program. Considering Coach Self is targeting a handful of players in the portal, the first loss should come sometime this month.

Any or all of these three players could be back in crimson and blue next year, so take this with a grain of salt if you'd like to. However, each of them could also be playing elsewhere, and we anticipate at least one of them will be.

Here are the 3 most likely Kansas basketball players to leave the Jayhawks this offseason.
