Less than 24 hours after securing a commitment from one of the top available players in the 2025 recruiting class, KU women’s basketball added yet another prospect to what has quickly become one of the best recruiting classes in program history.

Five-star guard Keeley Parks from Norman, Oklahoma, pledged her talents to KU via social media on Wednesday afternoon. The 5-foot-11 Parks is the reigning Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 26.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 5.6 steals per game.

"Keeley is one of the best combo guards in the nation," Schneider said. "She is an elite three-point shooter who uses her range to set up the rest of her game … We love her activity and mentality on the defensive end. She is a disruptor who is always in attack mode and her competitive fire will enhance our culture that we take so much pride in. Keeley Parks completes what we feel is one of the top recruiting classes in the history of Kansas women's basketball."

Parks is ranked as the No. 21 player overall in the 2025 class according to 247sports.com and picked KU over powerhouse women’s basketball programs such as Oklahoma, Tennessee, Baylor, and others. She is the fourth player to commit to KU in the 2025 class, which is now one of the top-ranked classes in the country.

Parks joins fellow five-star recruit Jaliya Davis (small forward) from nearby Overland Park, Kansas, five-star guard Libby Fandel out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and unranked small forward Tatyonna Brown out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

With Parks and her fellow signees on board for next year and current KU sophomore S’mya Nichols potentially returning for what would be her junior season, head coach Brandon Schneider could have one of the most talented young rosters in the Big 12 Conference.

The future appears bright for this Kansas women’s basketball program.
