The Kansas football team is back in action Saturday after a bye week. The Kansas Jayhawks (2-1) will host the West Virginia Mountaineers (2-1).

KU is looking to recover from the loss to its ancient rivals, the Missouri Tigers. The Jayhawks' defense surrendered 595 yards of total offense by the Tigers. The KU offense controlled the ball for only 19 and a half minutes, and the defense wore out, allowing several big plays.

The Mountaineers walloped Robert Morris, 45-3, and outlasted Pittsburgh, 31-24, in overtime. In between these two victories was a 10-17 loss to Ohio.
