The Kansas football team lost a heartbreaking game last week to Cincinnati, but hopes to bounce back against Central Florida on Saturday.

Kansas fell to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12. UCF (3-1, 0-1) suffered its first loss of the season at Kansas State, a week after beating North Carolina. The 34-20 loss to KSU was not nearly as close as KU’s falling to Cincinnati, 37-34.

The Jayhawks amassed 597 yards of offense against the Bearcats, but gave up 603 yards. It’s no wonder it was a close, high-scoring affair. Hopefully, the Kansas defense will play much better against the Knights.
