For the first time since 2005, the Missouri Tigers are visiting the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Friday night. In that game, the Kansas football team beat Mizzou 13-3. After the 2011 season, Missouri left the Big 12 for the SEC, and arguably the most heated rivalry in college football went dormant for 14 years.

Last year in Columbia, the Jayhawks jumped out to an early 21-6 first-quarter lead, but the Tigers whittled away at it. The game was tied at halftime. Then Missouri pulled away after the intermission, winning 41-31.

This year, KU will have the home crowd cheering them on, and the game should be a good one. The Jayhawks are the home underdogs, so they will need to play their best to beat their ancient rivals.

BetMGM has a full slate of possible betting options for those inclined.

It's an important matchup for both schools, not only for their overall records but also for the bragging rights. This rivalry will go on hiatus again until 2031. Both teams will be fired up, and it will be a good one.
