The wait is finally over.

Kansas football is back, and the Jayhawks are set to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs in the matter of just a few hours. Fresno State who hails from the Mountain West will be traveling to take on Kansas, and the time for talk is finally done. Here at Through The Phog the staff took some time to compile their own short predictions for the game tonight.

Joel Wagler: Kansas 38-17 Fresno State

"Kansas will start slow, but Daniels and the offense will start to clock before halftime, then they will pull away in the second half."

Tyler Key: Kansas 31-17 Fresno State

"The Jayhawk's offense will have some kinks to work out against Fresno State with so many new faces, but the defense will be strong and RB Daniel Hishaw Jr. looks poised to do his best Devin Neal impression. Multi-TD game from him incoming."

Riley Hibdon: Kansas 27-16 Fresno State

"I think both offenses might start out a little slow as they shake off the early-season woes and nerves. KU should settle into the game with a great fan environment in the new stadium. The game could very well get pretty tight, but I think KU will prevail in the end somewhat comfortably."

Connor Mardian: Kansas 35-14 Fresno State

"This will be one of those close "blowouts" E.J. Warner is a serious quarterback, and the son of former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner will cause Kansas problems through the air. It is also worth noting that Fresno State has one of the nation's best corners in Al'zillion Hamilton. Hamilton will do a good job keeping some of Jalon Daniels' favorite targets shut down. Yet, I expect Kansas to turn things around in the second half, and eventually close out Kansas. A good, but not elite performance."
