The Kansas basketball team took to the road on Wednesday and grabbed a win at Oklahoma State. KU now has two games at the Phog as they try to secure a Big 12 title.

Cincinnati is firmly in the middle of the pack, one of five schools with either six or seven wins. The Bearcats have six, but one of them was a big one, at home against Iowa State.

The biggest news out of the Oklahoma State win was the continued shenanigans surrounding Darryn Peterson. The freshman had a fantastic first half, scoring 20 points in 15 minutes. He started the second half, and three minutes in, he buried a three-pointer right in front of Bill Self, then turned and indicated to Self he wanted to come. He did not return. Same old, same old.

On the positive side, Tre White emerged in the second half from a bit of a slump with 16 points on the night, and Bryson Tiller recorded his first double-double, scoring 10 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists.

The Jayhawks will need more performances like these if they are going to go deep in the postseason, and it was great to see the team once more overcome the constant distraction that is Darryn Peterson. KU must not overlook Cincinnati, with Houston looming on Monday.
