The Kansas basketball team will finish its Big 12 road slate at Arizona State. The Jayhawks were blown out of the gym against Arizona on Saturday, while the Sun Devils beat Utah at home. KU has officially been eliminated from a Big 12 regular-season title. Now, Kansas needs to win their last two games to have a chance at getting an extra day of rest for the Big 12 conference.

KU was disappointing against Arizona. They were embarrassed on the backboards, getting outrebounded 48-26. Kansas connected on only 34 percent of their shots while allowing Arizona to hit on 45 percent.

Darryn Peterson had a brief hot streak against the Wildcats but made only 38 percent of his shots. Flory Budunga struggled against the size and physicality of Arizona. Bidunga had three points and four rebounds.

Kansas needs Peterson to be more consistent with his shooting and for Bidunga to play more to his norm if KU hopes to avoid an upset at Arizona State. They also need to be stronger in the paint on both ends of the court.
