The Kansas basketball team, fresh off its convincing win over the Houston Cougars on Monday, must now prepare for the Arizona Wildcats. KU handed Arizona its first loss of the season earlier this month in a game at the Phog.

Now, the Wildcats have two losses but still lead the Big 12 by two games. The Jayhawks have to beat Arizona, then win out, and hope that the Wildcats stumble against either Iowa State or Colorado.

Kansas beat Arizona the first time without Darryn Peterson, who sat out of the game with flu-like symptoms. The Jayhawks played an excellent game without him, driven by a raucous Allen Fieldhouse crowd.

Now, KU will have to deal with another hostile crowd, and they haven't always performed well on the road. Peterson will need to be at his best, and Kansas will need to play the kind of defense they did against Houston.
