The 2025 NBA Summer League os a place where talents can prosper. For five Kansas players, this past week has seen some big performances and highlights.
Johnny Furphy
The Indiana Pacer has lit up this summer with his smooth drives to the rim and clean playmaking.
Last season, Furphy earned a healthy rotation for the Indiana Pacers last season as he notched two points and just over one rebound on 38% shooting.
Furphy totaled 103 points throughout his 50 games for the NBA runner ups last season.
Yet, with a foothold already in the league, Furphy has culminated some impressive highlights including one against the Oklahoma City Thunder last Saturday.

His stats thus far have accumulated 19 points, six rebounds, six assists and four rebounds through his two appearances thus far.
Kevin McCullar Jr.
McCullar took the league by storm Sunday night with a massive statline.
McCullar totaled a fantastic statline with 30 points on 10-15 shooting, including nine points from the stripe. Those numbers go well with four rebounds and two steals, which helps neutralize McCullar's six turnovers. Ultimately, the Knicks lost to the Celtics by 13 points in a 94-81 Celtics win.
Against the Pistons earlier this summer, McCullar marked another good night with 13 points off 5-14 shooting, six rebounds, and three assists in the Knicks' 106-84 loss to the Pistons in the first game of the summer circuit.
Last season was McCullar's first year in the league with the Knicks, where the former Jayhawk spent his season trying to carve out minutes as he registered four games with the New York side and averaged 1.5 points, on seven minutes and two rebounds to go with half an assist and 28.6% from the field.
Hunter Dickinson
The former Kansas big man has marked his first professional minutes as the Pelican has marked seven points on 3-5 shooting so far with three blocks, three turnovers, five assists, three steals for New Orleans in both league games with a combined 25 minutes this Summer.
Da'juan Harris Jr. and Zeke Mayo
Neither Harris nor Mayo has registered any minutes thus far for either the Hornets or Wizards, which is nothing to ring any alarm bells about. Both still have plenty of time to find their footing as Harris for the Hornets still has two more games, meanwhile Mayo will have three more games for Washington.
