West Virginia vs. Kansas Jayhawks betting/spread

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Kansas is a 12.5-point favorite over West Virginia. You can take KU's odds at -112 or WVU's at -108. The Jayhawks are -850 moneyline favorites, while the Mountaineers' moneyline sits at +575. FanDuel Sportsbook has the same 12.5-point spread and a slightly different moneyline, favoring Kansas at -1000.

West Virginia vs. Kansas Jayhawks prop bets

There are several prop bets to choose from on DraftKings. We will list the ones we believe are best to put money on. West Virginia is one of the better defensive teams in the country, but the Mountaineers do not have much length in the frontcourt. Darian DeVries' squad could certainly have trouble guarding Hunter Dickinson and the Jayhawks down low. Pair any of these prop bets for a shot to win big on your parlay.

Javon Small OVER 19 points
Hunter Dickinson OVER 16 points
Hunter Dickinson OVER 13 rebounds
Zeke Mayo OVER 4 rebounds
Zeke Mayo OVER 2+ made threes
Javon Small OVER 5+ assists

West Virginia vs. Kansas Jayhawks over/under

The over/under on the contest is 142.5 points. The Jayhawks have surpassed that total six times in 11 games, but they have not done so in the past two games. Meanwhile, the Mountaineers have gone above that mark seven times. Considering they've had an 83-point outing against Arizona and 86 points against Gonzaga, they are clearly capable of putting points on the board.

West Virginia vs. Kansas Jayhawks prediction

Kansas basketball is coming off a few wins after suffering back-to-back road defeats to unranked opponents. The Jayhawks have played much better recently, but there is clearly work to be done in Lawrence. Bill Self should unveil some new concepts and really bring out the playbook with Big 12 play beginning.

The Mountaineers are a very solid team that already beat a team arguably better than Kansas. They play at a slow pace yet shoot some of the most 3-pointers in the country. While an upset is plausible, Allen Fieldhouse will be rocking, and beating a KU team on its home court is not an easy feat.

Final Prediction: 73-65, Kansas (WVU covers +12.5)
