Michigan State vs. Kansas Jayhawks over/under
The over/under on the contest is 150.5 points. The Jayhawks surpassed that total against UNC, but they did not do so in the season opener vs. Howard. Meanwhile, the Spartans have not reached that mark in either of their games. Tom Izzo's squad has not played a team with an offense as strong as KU's so it will be interesting to see how they stack up tonight.
Michigan State vs. Kansas Jayhawks prediction
Kansas basketball is coming off a massive blue-blood win over UNC in a thriller. The Jayhawks got off to a hot start in the first half but eventually squandered a 20-point lead. While disaster almost struck, they were still able to pull away at the end after Elliot Cadeau missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.
With a game this early in the season against an opponent that has very little to show as a team, it is difficult to predict how either team will look. Kansas certainly looked vulnerable while UNC was making its comeback, and Bill Self knows this is far from the version of the team fans will see come March. However, Michigan State simply does not have have the firepower to overcome Dickinson and KU's new transfer additions.
Final Prediction: 79-68, Kansas (covers -6)
