Kansas State vs. Kansas Jayhawks betting/spread
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Kansas is a 9.5-point underdog to K-State. You can take KU's spread odds at -108 or K-State's at -112. The Jayhawks are +275 moneyline favorites, while the Wildcats' moneyline sits at -345. FanDuel Sportsbook has the same 9.5-point spread and a slightly different moneyline, favoring KSU at -350.
Kansas State vs. Kansas Jayhawks prop bets
There are several prop bets to choose from on DraftKings. We will list the ones we believe are best to put money on. Chris Klieman and the Wildcats have been playing terrific football following a blowout loss to BYU last month. They have one of the best rushing offenses in the country behind tailback DJ Giddens and quarterback Avery Johnson. We predict there will be plenty of yards gained on the ground today, especially with Devin Neal looking to break the school's all-time rushing record. Pair any of these prop bets for a shot to win big on your parlay.
Jalon Daniels OVER 200 passing yards (-110)
Lawrence Arnold OVER 50 receiving yards (+135)
Devin Neal ANYTIME TD scorer (-175)
Quentin Skinner OVER 50 receiving yards (+125)
OVER 7 total offensive TDs (+100)
Jalon Daniels OVER 25 rushing yards (+100)
Kansas State OVER 34.5 total points (+100)
Kansas State vs. Kansas Jayhawks over/under
The over/under on the contest is 55.5 points. The Jayhawks have surpassed that total five times in seven games this year, while K-State has done so four times in 2024. Keeping the Wildcats off the scoreboard will be tough for defensive coordinator Brian Borland. Prior to last week vs. Houston, Kansas allowed an average of 35 points to opposing teams over a three-week span. We vote to choose the over on this game between KU's bad defense and two potent rushing attacks.
Kansas State vs. Kansas Jayhawks prediction
The Kansas football team has something to prove after coming out of the bye week firing on all cylinders. However, it did so against a measly Houston team that has one of the worst offenses in the Big 12. It is highly unlikely the Jayhawks only surrender 14 points again — don't be surprised if we see triple that number.
Everyone knows about the 15-game losing streak. The seniors are going to play with a chip on their shoulder knowing it is the last time they'll be able to break the skid. Coming into the season, many fans thought this would be the year, but the 2-5 start has negated all the hype around the Jayhawks. Even if Leipold and Co. keep it close early on, the Wildcats are simply the better football team here.
Final Prediction: 41-24, Kansas State
