The Kansas Jayhawks are mere minutes away from college football being fully back in action, after what feels like forever, fans are soon to see star quarteback Jalon Daniels back for Kansas.

Kansas of course is led by head coach Lance Leipold. Leipold is heading into his fifth season at the helm. Leipold saw tremendous success rebuilding a Buffalo program saw just two losing seasons as the Buffalo coach. Leipold saw 30 wins over his final four years with the Bulls.
Since joining Kansas, Leipold has rebuilt a dormant Kansas program which has seen Associated Press rankings as high as No. 19. Kansas has seen a 22-28 record with Leipold at the helm, but with plenty more positives than negatives, as Leipold has navigated to two bowl games.
On the opposite side of the ball today stands Fresno State. The Bulldogs are led by new head coach Matt Entz. Entz saw elite success at North Dakota State and spent last season as assistant head coach and linebackers coach at the University of Southern California.
Marshalling Entz's team is E.J. Warner. Warner's father is National Football League Hall Of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner. E.J. possesses one of the strongest arms in the nation. Last season, for the Owls, Warner's 2,710 yards passing in 2024 rank fifth all-time for Rice. At Temple the year before, Warner sat Temple records with 23 passing touchdowns and 445 attempts while eclipsing 3,000 yards passing (3,076) for the second consecutive season.
