The Kansas Jayhawks have been able to create a lot of trouble for a number of defenses this season. Heading into the KU’s latest matchup, the Jayhawks have averaged 37.2 points per game with 414 yards per game to follow suit. Kansas is led by Jalon Daniels, who has tallied 817 yards and 12 touchdowns and two interceptions.
Helping out Daniels is wideout corps Emmanuel Henderson Jr., Cam Pickett, and Levi Wentz. All three wideouts have totaled over 130 yards, with Henderson leading the group with 221 yards.
Supporting the passing game is a strong rushing attack, which is led by Leshon Williams and Daniel Hishaw Jr.
Williams is a former Iowa running back. This season, Williams has accumulated 181 yards for a 6.5 yards per rush average with two touchdowns on the ground.
Hishaw has amassed 185 yards this season on the ground with an average of 5.1 yards per carry and one touchdown this season.
Yet it was Daniels and Henderson who broke open the Jayhawks’ game against Big 12 side Cincinnati. After forcing a punt from the Bearcats, Daniels and co. were placed at the Kansas seven-yard line. In what looked like a grueling drive ahead, Daniels and Henderson had their own input

That 93-yard passing touchdown for the Jayhawks was the fourth-longest play in Kansas football history. This isn’t the first time Henderson has made a big play.
Against West Virginia last week, the Jayhawk wideout took a 94-yard kick return to the house, in what turned out to be a massive 41-10 win over the Mountaineers.
Last season for the Crimson Tide, Henderson totaled five kick returns for 107 yards. The former five-star running back was converted to wide receiver after arriving at the SEC school.
