Class of 2026 four-star small forward Trent Perry recently announced his final four schools, and according to On3’s Joe Tipton, Kansas is among the chosen.

The 6-foot-4 Perry also looks to consider fellow Big 12 side TCU, Big 10 side Maryland, and SEC side Vanderbilt.

Perry currently plays for the prestigious Link Academy. An academy that has seen four players make it to the NBA, including Tre Johnson (Washington Wizards), Ja’Kobe Walter (Toronto Raptors), Julian Phillips (Chicago Bulls), and Jordan Walsh (Boston Celtics).

According to the 247Sports Composite, Perry is ranked as the 113th best player in the nation, the 43rd small forward in the country, and the fourth-ranked player out of Missouri.

On3 has Perry listed as a four-star forward with a 90.67 rating.

Perry was offered Kansas just yesterday, according to his X account.

Recruiting database favorites

247Sports lists TCU, Maryland, Vanderbilt, and Kansas all with “Warm” tags.

Of all the schools in Perry’s final four schools, On3 totes TCU as being the favorite to land Perry with a 28.0% chance, followed by Vanderbilt with 21.0% chance, Maryland comes in third with 17.5% before Kansas ranks last with under 1% as of last update by On3.

What do the other schools offer Perry?

TCU will be the closest school Perry has considered as he sits roughly 40 miles away from the Big 12 side.

Maryland offers the chance for Perry to be instantly competing for a spot under new head coach Buzz Williams. Williams is months off of an extended coaching tenure at Texas A&M.

Mark Byington and Vanderbilt are one of the nation’s more intriguing teams. Bynington came from JMU, where he rebuilt the Dukes, before finding a 20-13 record in a stacked SEC.
