“Talk about a guy who could beat you with his feet and his arm, how about Jalon Daniels?” Said former Michigan Wolverine and Heisman Winner Desmond Howard.

Thus far, the stats can only support Howard’s claim. In two games this season, the Lawndale, California, product has already thrown for seven touchdowns and one interception, along with 456 yards on an 80% completion rate in just two games for Lance Leipold’s team.

While Daniels has yet to stuff the statsheet on the running side of the game, the mobile QB has shown enough times that he is still as tricky as ever, with 19 rushing touchdowns in his tenure and six on the ground last season alone.

The Jayhawks are coming off two dominant victories, the first a 31-7 win over Mountain West side Fresno State, the second a 46-7 win over Wagner last Friday.

Kansas’ opponents today? Well, we think you can figure that out on your own, of course, the Missouri Tigers. Former Alabama head coach and Hall of Famer Nick Saban spoke on Tigers’ QB Beau Pribula. Having questioned whether Pribula is a pure runner or a passer as well, when Pribula transferred to Missouri from Penn State.

“I think everybody probably remembers number nine last year coming in the game for Penn State, and he'd do a few running plays, you know, in relief.
Nobody really knew if he could throw the ball. The first thought I had in my mind when he transferred to Missouri was. Can this guy pass at all?”

Saban then followed this up with a breakdown of Pribula’s first pass as an SEC quarterback, that being a massive 49-yard pass from Pribula to Marquis Johnson as Missouri opened its season with a massive 61-6 win over Central Arkansas.

Saban then followed up his breakdown by stating, “So he can throw the deep ball.” The former coach of the Tide then illustrated Pribula’s passing accuracy with the breakdown of a tight-window ball from Pribula, before showing Pribula’s ability to get yards on the ground as well.

Kansas takes on the Tigers at 2:30 PM CT on ESPN 2.
