It's another showdown between the Jayhawks and the Knights as UCF makes the trip to Lawrence in Week 10. Both teams are coming off tough losses, although at least Kansas had a touchdown on the board to be proud of.

After a huge upset against No. 2 BYU, the Knights came crashing down to earth during their annual Space Game, getting annihilated by Baylor. Kansas, on the other hand, held a lead into the third quarter before giving it up to TCU in what was another poor second-half showing from the Jayhawks.

Now the two meet after last season's matchup, where Kansas won on the road in the Bounce House, the Jayhawks' sole road win last season. Both teams are coming in banged up, but with quarterback Isaiah Marshall looking like he should be good to go, the Jayhawks are the favorite in this one.

The early line had Kansas as a 2.5-point favorite, but whether it was the injuries or the fact that Kansas will be at home, the Jayhawks are now a 3.5-point favorite over the Knights.

This is a matchup of two first half teams and Lance Leipold needs the Jayhawks to win

Both Kansas and UCF have been first-half teams this season. The Knights have held many leads over teams many believe severely outmatched them. Leads against both ranked Oklahoma State and Houston teams disappeared in the second half, with the Knights unable to keep the momentum on their side.

It was a bit of a surprise that the Knights were able to keep up with BYU all game. Kansas has seen the same fate quite a bit this season, getting off to a fast start and then losing it in the second half. The Jayhawks held a solid lead over their bitter rival, Kansas State, but the Wildcats found more energy in the bag late in the game to propel them to the win.

With this being two first-half teams going head-to-head, it could come down to whoever has the ball last. Head coach Lance Leipold will need his team to come out with the win, as hot-seat talks could start to get louder with another loss.

Blowing leads in the second half has become a staple for Leipold's team in the last few seasons, and if it comes against a team Kansas has the best chance of beating, those talks could start to get louder.

This game is probably going to come down to the wire, with two experienced quarterbacks working to make plays. With UCF having the slightly better defense, this win might go to the Knights, who get a takeaway at the right time.
