We are mere minutes away from KU and Cincinnati in what Kansas fans will hope is the second Big 12 win this season. Last week saw the Mountaineers get dismantled by the Jayhawks, in a 41-10 loss to KU.

What we also saw debut last week was the first Big 12 availability reports that the Jayhawks have put out.

Here is a description of how the reports work.

The statuses given to the players will be “available, probable, questionable, doubtful, or out.” Basketball programs will indicate if players are “available, game-time decision or out.”

With kickoff under an hour away, we have seen the last Big 12 report.

So far this season, Cincinnati has compiled a 2-1 record with a 34-20 win over Bowling Green and a 70-0 win over Northwestern State, coming after a narrow 20-17 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

For Kansas, the Jayhawks are 3-1 with a 31-7 win over Fresno State in week zero, followed by a 46-7 win over FCS side Wagner, before the first Border Showdown since 2011, when KU suffered its lone loss in a 42-31 loss to Missouri.

Kansas was able to recover with the aforementioned 31-point win over West Virginia to jump out to a 3-1 record.

Kickoff is set for 11 AM CT.
