In what has felt like the longest week ever for Kansas basketball, Jayhawks fans have gotten what they were wanting. Kohl Rosario finally made his announcement that he will be sticking with the Jayhawks for next season, making him the only rotational player that is returning for next season.
Rosario made his announcement using a pretty amazing video, where, in the beginning, fans can hear him talking about how much he loves playing at Kansas and what it means to be a Jayhawk. Finally, in the last part of the video, Rosario comes on the screen, announcing he isn't going anywhere, before the video flashes into highlights from his time at Kansas.

Fans can't get enough of the video or the announcement, as the comments were flooded with celebration of his return. Some fans are even talking about the potential step Rosario can make next season as a shooter, especially with the opportunity for more minutes he will most likely receive.
Kansas fans are also commending Rosario for his loyalty to the Jayhawks, loving that he chose to stick it out, even after not getting a ton of playing time last season. Many Kansas players, who even got a lot of playing time last season, chose to bail for the transfer portal, but Rosario seems to be trusting the development process with head coach Bill Self.
While Rosario's numbers didn't fly off the state sheet last season, averaging just over three points a game and only getting roughly 12 minutes on the court per game, as one of the only returners with any sort of solid minutes on the court, it feels like the sky is the limit.
The former four-star recruit out of high school was known for his elite shooting ability, but that definitely got lost last season with other players like Darryn Peterson and Melvin Coucnil Jr. taking center stage. Now with more of the attention on Rosario, he can hopefully get back to those scoring ways.
