In the NBA, it is always hard to carve out a name for yourself. A number of the best college players we have seen end up floating from team to team, meaning that if you can find your niche in the NBA, you have to take advantage of it, and that is what former Jayhawk Christian Braun has done.

The sharpshooting Braun established himself as one of the nation’s most efficient bucket getters. In Braun’s final season under Bill Self, Braun notched 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists, all while converting an astounding 49.5% field goal rate, with a strong 38.6% mark from beyond the arc.

In the 2022 NBA draft, Braun was selected with the 21st pick by the Denver Nuggets, and year by year, Braun’s role has grown. Last season, Braun averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, all while hitting an astounding 58% of his shots.

While Braun was putting up a strong 11.4 points, three assists, and 4.4 rebounds during 11 appearances this season, Braun was recently ruled out for the next six weeks with a left ankle sprain and is set to miss out on at least the next six weeks, according to Shams Charania

Hailing from Overland Park, Kansas, Braun was ranked as a three-star prospect and the nation’s 127th best player from the class of 2019.
