Kansas is one of the most notorious blue blood programs in the country when it comes to college basketball, and head coach Bill Self is the biggest reason for that. The Hall of Fame head coach has coached elite teams after elite teams, sending many to the NBA to go on and have very successful careers.
Self has dealt with a lot over the years, from great players, heartbreak on the court, as well as the joy of winning a National Championship twice in his career. The Jayhawks will now be shown in a four-part docuseries on Paramount+ called "Made for March" alongside the Michigan Wolverines, showing the teams' journeys this season.
Paramount+ today announced a new four-part docuseries, MADE FOR MARCH, to debut on Paramount+ on Saturday April 4 chronicling two of college basketball’s most renowned programs—Kansas Jayhawks and Michigan Wolverines—this season in their bid for a national championship.… pic.twitter.com/Mnz2XgudIn

This in itself is a historic matter as Self has never allowed a camera crew like this into the building, but there is something a little different about this team that has Self allowing a look behind the scenes.
"For over two decades, the Kansas Men's Basketball program has been approached for a variety of all-access documentaries, and I have always turned them down," Self said in a statement. "However, this is the one moment, with an incredible special team, where I felt it was finally the right time to let viewers behind the curtain to get an unfettered look at what goes on with Kansas basketball.
This team does feel a little different from the ones that Self has coached in the past. They have had their fair share of struggles, especially the situation with Darryn Peterson being so elite, but dealing with so many injuries. However, they have never let it stop them and are currently in the middle of a terrific eight-game win streak.
Fans will finally get the inside look they might have been hoping for for years with Kansas basketball, and hopefully, it will end with the cameras recording a National Championship for the Jayhawks.
