What is the deal with Satterfield? A 37% win rate with two seasons already under his belt does not strike as an elite opponent. This being written from an outside opinion, is there much more going on with the program, or does it mostly come down to Satterfield?

"Cincinnati fans love to give Satterfield a hard time, but he was dealt a bad hand. When Luke Fickell left and Satterfield inherited the program, which was moving to the Big 12, it made recruiting a little tough. The Bearcats started last season 5-2, beating the eventual conference champions, Arizona State, before losing their final five games of the season. Satterfield put together a very good roster for this season, and all are optimistic about our Big 12 chances, but if the Bearcats spiral at the end of the season again, it is safe to say Satterfield is probably gone."

Who is one Cincinnati player who will cause problems on both sides of the ball against Kansas?

Jack Dingle, a do-it-all linebacker for Cincinnati, could face problems for the Jayhawks' offense as he will make a big impact as a rusher, in coverage, and stopping the run. Brendan Sorsby is the guy to look for on offense. The Bearcats quarterback can throw the ball down the field as well as relying on his legs; and he isn’t easy to bring down.

In the first availability report released on Wednesday, there are a number of Bearcats who are labeled as out. How many of these are big-time players?

None of the players listed as our huge contributors, but something to look out for would be if Dontay Corleone doesn’t play, the depth of the defensive line. The Bearcats would be without three defensive linemen, one of them being the heart and soul of the defense.

Jalon Daniels tends to hit 10+ yard runs multiple times in a game. Is Cincinnati equipped to deal with a running QB? At times this season, Daniels has extended drives at key points to continue the Jayhawk momentum

Cincinnati hasn’t faced a true run threat quarterback this season so we could see Daniels take off on a couple of scrambles early. It is important to contain Daniels inside the pocket but with our limited resources at defensive line it’s hard not to think that Daniels could pose problems as a runner.

An early 11 AM CT Kickoff is set at David Booth. As it stands, the Jayhawks are 4.5-point favorites with the moneyline at -200 in favor of Lance Leipold's team.
