As college football is officially back, sounding the alarms for Fall, in just a little bit of time, the NFL is going to kick right back off. Now, the ultimate goal for any collegiate player is to make it to the big leagues of whatever sport they are competing in.

One of the worst things in sport though is to see your favorite collegiate players not quite make it to the next level for whatever reason.

There were a number of Jayhawks to have participated in the NFL preseason which spanned from August 7th all the way until the 23rd, where a number of Kansas players like Austin Booker, Luke Grimm and Quentin Skinner all showed out.

Prior to the preseason, Kansas' X account released their list of every NFL player who was an alum of Kansas.

ESPN has spent the past couple of dreaded days updating each team's NFL roster periodically. At the time of writing (Monday night), we combed through every team in which a Jayhawk plays for, and examined where they currently stand with their current organization.

Indianapolis lists quarterback Jason Bean as its fourth string quarterback behind Daniel Jones Anthony Richardson Sr. and Riley Leonard.

Craig Young is no longer a member of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bryce Cabeldue and Steven Sims are both respective third string players in the left guard and wide receiver position.

Left cornerback Cobee Bryant is placed as the third string LCB for the Atlanta Falcons, while cornerback Mello Dotson is not on Carolina's depth chart.

Established NFL veteran Dorance Armstrong has moved to the Washington Commanders from the Dallas Cowboys, where he is a first srting player.

Offensive tackle Logan Brown was recently waived by the Minnesota Vikings.

Right tackle Hakeem Adenji has nicely pushed himself firmly into contention for valuable minutes as Adenji is slotted into the second string.

Skinner has done enough to keep himself a member of the New York Jets as he sits in the fourth slot.

Linebacker JB Brown is no longer a member of the Denver Broncos.

San Francisco 49er Dominick Puni is tagged as the starting right guard for the West Coast side, yet a knee sprain put questions around whether Puni would be able to be available for action, however it looks like he will be back for week one according to 49ers Webzone.

Austin Booker who has a great preseason is currently placed as the second left defensive end, however Booker suffered a recent injury which may hinder his immediate availability.

Devin Neal, who went down with a hamstring injury at the beginning of the preseason picked up minutes towards the latter-end of the New Orleans Saints preseason and sees the third slot for the NFC South side.

Lastly stands Luke Grimm, who sits fourth on the Chargers' depth chart.
