3. Win the turnover battle
Plain and simple, Kansas needs to control the ball to come out victorious. In each of Houston's league games this year, the Cougars have had fewer turnovers than their opponents. Coincidentally, they hold a 7-0 record in conference play.
Kansas has been prone to overpassing all season, especially when players are trying to find Hunter Dickinson in the low post. It is paramount that they maximize offensive possessions and take open shots when they have them.
Last year, KU somehow scored 78 points and beat the Cougars by 13 despite turning the ball over 18 times to UH's three. But unless the magic of Allen Fieldhouse kicks in again, the team cannot be nearly as sloppy on the offensive end.
