3 Jayhawks that need to show up for Kansas basketball against UNC
2. AJ Storr
It hasn't been the start to Storr's Kansas tenure that most people expected. When he committed, he was supposed to be the second or third option in the offense. Instead, Storr has already been relegated to bench duties by Bill Self after combining for 16 points on 6-for-18 shooting (1-for-8 from 3-point range) during the exhibitions.
While it was known that he is a volume scorer who can be inefficient, the junior guard looks lost on the court. Self made some eyebrow-raising comments when he told the media that Storr 'doesn't know what aggressive looks like.'
Storr was recruited by the coaching staff to be a difference-maker offensively, and he has not been that kind of player yet. He is in the proverbial doghouse right now, and there's no better time for him to turn it around than against one of the nation's best opponents. Whether it be getting to the free throw line, making the right passes, or even crashing the offensive boards, the Wisconsin transfer must find a way to be effective against the Tar Heels.
