3 Flory Bidunga transfer destinations Kansas fans would hate to see him at

With the Kansas big man declaring for the NBA Draft and subsequently entering the transfer portal, no matter what, Flory Bidunga will be in a Jayhawks uniform next season.

After two seasons in Lawrence, Flory Bidunga will be returning to the Kansas Jayhawks, either because he is heading to the NBA or because he is heading somewhere else in the transfer portal. It was announced late Thursday night that Bidunga was declaring for the NBA Draft but intends to maintain his college eligibility and enter the transfer portal.

This means that Bidunga can pull his name from the draft and then enter the portal to see where he would like to go, very similar to how Yaxel Lendeborg did last offseason.

With this news, now Kansas will be either on the hunt for a big man or maybe hand the reins over to redshirt freshman Bryson Tiller. Either way, Bidung is heading off somewhere else that isn't Lawrence next season. With Bidunga most likely playing in another college uniform next season, here are three teams that Kansas fans would hate to see him join.

Duke Blue Devils

Kansas and Duke will always have beef with each other as both are some of the top blue blood programs in the country. Bill Self has a 7-9 record against Duke, including a loss this past season to the Blue Devils in November when the Jayhawks were missing star Darryn Peterson.

As two of the top programs in the country, to see Bidunga go to Durham and most likely succeed in a big way, especially since the Blue Devils need a big man, would certainly not make fans happy.

Kentucky Wildcats

If there is one thing Mark Pope can do at Kentucky, it is bring in big talent from the transfer portal. Even though Pope isn't as successful in bringing in talent from high school, Kentucky has the money to entice transfer portal players to pick Lexington.

Pope is in need of some big wins this offseason, with his seat beginning to heat up, and landing Bindunga, who will likely be a top target out of the portal, could certainly help him and Kentucky, much to the dismay of Kansas fans.

Alabama Crimson Tide

With all the issues with Charles Bediako coming back to Alabama, head coach Nate Oats might be ready to leave it behind and find his new big man, which could very easily be Flory Bidunga. The Tide have always played with great guards, but when they have had a big man in the paint, it has made a big difference.

Bringing in Bidunga would take some pressure off of those guards and allow Bidunga to become a focal point in Alabama's offense, something Kansas fans wanted to see next season from the big man.

Honorble Mention: Michigan State

While Tom Izzo doesn't always like the transfer portal, he isn't opposed to using it, and Bidunga would be a great find for his style of play. Some rumors are heating up between Bidunga and Michigan State, and it is another program Kansas fans wouldn't want to see Bidunga at.
