2. Flory Bidunga posts a double-double
Flory Bidunga should see an extended opportunity with superstar center Hunter Dickinson expected to be sidelined due to a foot sprain. Indications point to him drawing a start at the five, so he’ll look to build on a strong showing during Late Night in the Phog.
The former 5-star recruit will be the biggest Jayhawk on the floor and spends most of his time in the paint on the defensive end. Bidunga could be in prime position to lead KU in total boards. While he doesn’t possess the offensive skill set of Dickinson, Bidunga and Dajuan Harris should run a few effective pick-and-rolls that get the highly touted freshman some easy dunks.
