Tier 3: No Jays

6. Elmarko Jackson

Elmarko had a stretch where he hit two consecutive shots. Outside of that stretch, he didn’t play great, as he finished 2-of-5 from the field. Jackson had five points, one rebound, three assists, and two turnovers. We are still waiting on a breakout game from Elmarko. If it doesn’t happen soon, he may be passed up by Johnny.

7. Parker Braun

Parker had five points and three rebounds in 10 minutes. He was pushed around down loan and gave up an offensive rebound and stick back by the Roos. Outside of that, he played his role and ate up time with Hunter on the bench.

8. Jamari McDowell

Jamari played only five minutes, recording one rebound and missing his only shot of the game. He took the three rather early in the shot clock and didn’t get much playing time tonight. I still like his game, and as others continue to struggle, his opportunity could be around the corner.

9. Nicolas Timberlake

Timberlake shot over 41% from 3 the last two seasons. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for that Timberlake to arrive. He continued his cold shooting, going 1-of-5 from deep in 17 minutes. He added two rebounds and one steal. His defense was better early but he was muscled down low several times. I was a little surprised at how many minutes he got with his cold shooting. He hit a corner three early and kept firing and missing after that.
