Tier 2: Baby Jays

4. Kevin McCullar

Kevin has been a great tandem with Hunter all year. Kev didn’t have his best shooting night going 6-of-13 from the field and had seven turnovers. He was weak with the ball and had 18 turnovers over the 3-day weekend. He has been so consistent in scoring and filling up the stat sheet he needs to be stronger with the ball and cut down on his careless turnovers. Kevin dropped in 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists, to go with the seven turnovers. He was solid on defense and did Kev things.

5. Johnny Furphy

Johnny provided a spark off the bench in the first half again. His shot looks pure, and he can be a knockdown shooter. The Aussie sensation did not get much run in the second half as he came in around the 7-minute mark picked up a quick foul on defense and was never seen again. His first half was a big spark to earn him Baby Jay status, and he was on his way to Big Jay look if he got more playing time. He finished with five points, going 2-of-2 from the field. He logged 11 minutes. I would have liked to have seen him get more run during the second half.

6. Dajuan Harris

Juan continued his lackluster Maui tournament. He was beaten several times on defense and had three turnovers. He did typical Juan things as well, dropping eight assists and setting up his teammates while playing solid defense overall. Harris’ final stat line included five points on 2-of-4 shooting, eight assists, three rebounds, and three turnovers.
