Tier 3: No Jays

7. Jamari McDowell

Jamari’s strong final five minutes against Kentucky earned him a few more minutes today finishing with ten minutes of playing time. He continues to be a solid ball mover and defender, trying to deliver what Self is looking for. He finished with two points on 1-for-2 shooting, one rebound, two assists, and zero turnovers. While not an overwhelming stat line, he continues to do the little things, including defending and effort that will earn him minutes.

8. Parker Braun

Parker played for 10 minutes and missed his only shot. He had zero points but finished with four rebounds, one steal, and one turnover. Not his best outing, but provided a rest for Hunter when needed.

9. Nicolas Timberlake

One of these days, Nick is going to be hot from three. That day was not against Chaminade. He continues his icy shooting going 1-for-5 from the field and 0-for-3 from 3-point rnage. He finished with two points and one assist. He will need to start knocking down his open looks or his playing time will continue to dwindle.
