Big 12 Basketball Power Rankings through two weeks of play
We are already two weeks through the college basketball season. These are our Big 12 basketball power rankings through the first handful of games.
There have been plenty of upsets at the top of the food chain in college basketball this season, such as Michigan State falling at home to James Madison or Duke losing to Arizona in Cameron Indoor. But for the most part, the Big 12 has kept its name out of headlines through the first two weeks of play.
Top teams such as Houston and Kansas have taken care of business thus far, though the latter will have to deal with a loaded Maui Invitational bracket starting tonight. Meanwhile, Texas would have fallen to Kenny Payne’s Louisville Cardinals if not for the last-second heroics of Oral Roberts transfer Max Abmas.
There were a few changes in our power rankings over the past week, so make sure to click through to see who landed in the top spots!
