Let’s go!!! Big time win by the Kansas basketball team. We came out hot, racing to a 9-0 lead, and looked good early on. Kentucky got hot from deep in the first half and controlled the last seven minutes of the quarter, going up as many as 12 points before Hunter Dickinson drilled a 3-pointer to cut the lead to seven right at the end of the half.

Down by 14 with 16 minutes to go, we started chipping away. Hunter dominated, and Juan made two huge threes to help tie it up late. Hunter closed it out and Jamari had a big rebound with five seconds and made both free throws to put them to bed!

Tier 1: Big Jays

1. Hunter Dickinson

Big Hunt did what he came to KU to do — dominate big games and take over down the stretch. He scored our final five points before Jamari iced it from the line with five seconds left. Dickinson did it all, keeping the ball alive and dominating the glass. He finished with 27 points, 21 rebounds, and three steals on 8-for-12 shooting and 10-for-11 from the free throw line. Absolute beast! It was the first 20-20 game by a Kansas basketball player since Nick Collison in 2003.

2. Dajuan Harris

Juan was careless at times, with four turnovers and several other close calls on passes. However, he showed he could step up and hit open looks and clutch shots down the stretch. He ended with a career-high 23 points, seven assists, and two rebounds. The senior point guard shot 7-for-12 from the field and 5-for-6 from 3. Down six points with under four minutes remaining, Juan hit back-to-back big threes and two free throws to tie the game with 2:35 left. This is the guy we want to see who can take and make open looks. We know what he brings on defense and if he can consistently knock down clutch shots, it would open up our team to another level. Nice game Juan!

3. Kevin McCullar

Kev had an off shooting night going 3-for-11 from the field and 0-for-3 from 3. However, he battled all night and filled the stat sheet. Kev wound up with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for a triple-double. Pretty solid day for an off day.
