2. Dominick Puni

The second Jayhawk you can expect to be drafted this spring is KU’s starting left tackle. Puni has been the best offensive lineman on the Kansas football team in the past two seasons, and it didn’t take long for him to skyrocket in NFL Draft rankings.

The redshirt senior spent four years at the University of Central Missouri, which competes at the NCAA Division II level. He was a day-one starter at KU and has anchored an offensive line that has allowed the least amount of sacks in the Big 12 dating back to his arrival.

Pro Football Network rated him as one of the three most underrated draft prospects to come out of this year, claiming “he won’t get out of Day 2 with how he has looked this season.”

Puni played left guard in 2022 before switching to the outside, but he’ll likely need to shift back to the inside in the NFL due to his short arm length. He will be a highly coveted player come the season’s end.
