2. Elmarko Jackson

Even if he hasn’t developed to his full potential yet, Jackson will be a key piece for this KU roster. He is one of the quickest players on the team and takes the load off of Dajuan Harris defensively. His offense is still a work in progress but he can drive to the rim efficiently.

Jackson got the starting nod over Nick Timberlake to begin the regular season, playing 21 minutes to the latter’s 20, yet Jackson wasn’t given much of an opportunity to run the offense with Dajuan quarterbacking. While Juan is the team’s clear point guard and will be for the next two years, tomorrow’s game could provide an opportunity for the freshman to further develop his playmaking skills.
