With college hoops and Big 12 basketball beginning today, we formed our preseason power rankings for each of the 14 schools in the conference.

The Big 12 is the best basketball conference in America, but there will be plenty of new faces set to kick off the season with their respective schools. Teams like Kansas and West Virginia made a living off the transfer portal, though the latter encountered some rough patches down the stretch.

It will be the first time in over a decade that the Big 12 does not run with their typical round-robin 18-game basketball schedule for conference play. There are a total of 14 schools now in the picture, changing the landscape of everything.

This is our first edition of Big 12 power rankings. We will post them every Monday during the season. These are just a placeholder for now, but they will hold some weight from week to week early in the season.
