Most Exciting Conference Game No. 2: Kansas State vs. Kansas Football in 2025 (Lawrence, Kansas)

A game against K-State will always be exciting for students and fans alike, but with the recent surge of the Kansas football program, this could be a contest where the Jayhawks are actually favored to win. After all, it’s been far too long since Kansas football took home the crown as the winner of the Sunflower Showdown.

Kansas might be able to break the 15-year losing streak in 2023, but if they fall short, this game would be KU’s best shot. Hopefully, by this point in time, the fans are fully bought into Jayhawk football and the team is enjoying consistent success.

K-State is the only school Kansas plays in each of the next four years in the recently released scheduling matrix, which should come as no surprise considering they played for 113 consecutive seasons.
