Tier 3: No Jays

7. Nicolas Timberlake

Timberlake got the start and played 15 minutes. He got some rebounds early but was cold from the field before he knocked down a three with around two minutes left in the game. Nick went 1-of-6 from the field with three points, three rebounds, one assist, and two turnovers. His defense wasn’t great, and when he is in, he needs to knock down open looks to help stretch the floor.

8. Elmarko Jackson

Elmarko played 16 minutes and didn’t have his best showing. He went 0-for-2 from the field and had zero points, one rebound, and three assists. He was beaten many times on defense and never really asserted himself in the offense. The positive was three assists and no turnovers.

9. Jamari McDowell

Jamari played 12 minutes and had two rebounds and one assist. He never really stood out in his time and played average defense.

10. Zach Clemence

In what should be his last action of the season, impending redshirt Zach played about six minutes. He passed up several open looks from 3-point range and had two points and three rebounds.

The team as a whole continues to struggle from three, shooting 21% tonight.

Sad to hear the passing of a legend in Bobby Knight. He had one of my favorite quotes from a Coach years ago when he said: “When I die, I hope they bury me upside down so my critics can kiss my a**!” RIP Coach Knight!
