Kansas basketball will round out its preseason with a scrimmage against Fort Hays State. Find out how you can watch the Jayhawks tonight.
The No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks have gained plenty of experience under their belt over the offseason. They traveled to Puerto Rico for a week-long trip in August, which included a three-game set of scrimmages against several NBA players. Recently, they played a charity exhibition against No. 25 Illinois to raise money for the Maui Strong Fund.
With the regular season looming, the final preseason test will take place tonight against NCAA Division II opponent Fort Hays State. The Kansas-based university most recently took on the Jayhawks in 2019 when they fell 86-56.
It will mark the first time newcomers such as Hunter Dickinson, Elmarko Jackson, and Nick Timberlake play a live match in legendary Phog Allen Fieldhouse. Although the final score might not be too competitive, Kansas is still working its way through some struggles and could certainly use the practice considering how rusty they looked a few days ago.
The Illinois scrimmage was aired nationally on Big Ten Network, but unfortunately, it won’t be as easy to access today’s contest. Here is everything you need to know about the game and where you can watch it.
