Unsure of how to watch today’s scrimmage between Illinois and Kansas basketball? Here is all the information you need to know to tune into the exhibition.

Kansas basketball is officially upon us!

The No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks are set to unofficially kick off the 2023-24 season when they face off against No. 25 Illinois in an exhibition contest this evening.

Although it was initially supposed to be a secret scrimmage, coaches Bill Self and Brad Underwood agreed to open it up for fans. All proceeds will be donated to the Maui Strong fund to aid the destruction that the Lahaina wildfires this summer. Kansas is one of eight school in the Maui Invitational field this year.

The outcome will not count toward either team’s record, as the regular season begins on Nov. 6. Kansas basketball also plays another exhibition against Fort Hays State on Wednesday, Nov. 1.

How to watch Illinois vs. Kansas basketball scrimmage

The exhibition will not be televised on a broadcast network but rather on the Big Ten Network. For this option to work, you’ll need to have a cable service that offers FOX. The FOX Sports App is also airing the game. Cable plans typically offer BTN.
